Vision:
Political science is one of the most comprehensive and interconnected social sciences, especially after the predominance of the experimental and behavioral scientific approach and its subsequent branching approaches, which constitute one of the pillars of the scientific study of political phenomena.
The College of Political Science's vision is based on the view that political science is a branch of the social sciences with an applied dimension. Therefore, at the College of Political Science, we teach and study political science based on our identity and culture, and informed by the experiences, identities, and cultures of others, not only for the purpose of gaining knowledge and interpreting political phenomena, but also for the purpose of working and applying these sciences and knowledge on the ground and building strength.

Goals
Based on the college's vision, the Faculty of Political Science at the International University of Sham aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Preparing academic cadres and providing graduates with a high level of scientific thinking, research capabilities, and cognitive expertise, enabling them to manage state affairs at the local and international levels.
- Preparing specialized cadres in political science at the bachelor's and master's levels, capable of working in the following fields (foreign and domestic relations, defense, media, culture, decision support and analysis institutions, research centers, etc.).
- Preparing academic cadres through graduate programs to provide the college and other faculties with academics specialized in various political science disciplines.
- Deepening the academic research and analytical capabilities of the college's students and faculty in all specialized topics, preparing studies that contribute to proposing appropriate solutions to problems at the core of the political science discipline, and linking academic work to real-world problems.
- Encouraging academic cooperation with various institutions and universities and contributing to the development of the scientific specialization in political science.
Outputs
The curriculum of the College of Political Science qualifies graduates to understand and interpret political phenomena in their sociological, economic, psychological, historical, and legal dimensions. It also qualifies them to construct and use theories and theoretical models for scientific predictions regarding various political phenomena. Graduate programs, based on the college's specializations, enable graduates to deepen the process of interpretation and prediction regarding political phenomena at various levels. Through research projects, they are able to work toward finding scientific and practical solutions to societal problems. They also continue to prepare students scientifically and academically to contribute to academic and research work, as well as to official work in accordance with their specializations.
